National Teacher’s Day observed in Nakla

Nakla (Sherpur) Correspondent: National Teacher’s Day-2022 was observed in Nakla upazila of Sherpur district on Thursday. On the occasion different programs have been observed, as a rally and discussion meeting was held with the slogan “The transformation of the education system begins with the hands of the teachers”.
The rally started from the front of the Upazila Mujib Centenary Stage and went around the main road of the Nakal town and ended at the same place at 9 am.
Later, a discussion meeting was held. The convener of the World Teachers’ Day Upazila Celebration Committee and Acting Principal of Government Hazi Jalmahmud Collage presided over the program, where Upazila Parishad Chairman and Upazila AL’s Joint Secretary Shah Md Borhan Uddin spoke as the chief guest. Former member of Zilla Parishad and Upazila AL’s organizing secretary Samiul Haque Mukta conducted the program. GS of Teacher’s Day Celebration Committee and Upazila Secondary Education Officer Muhammad Abdur Rashid, Chowdhury Chabarun of Nesa Women’s Degree College’s Principal and Vice President of Upazila AL Abdul Khalek spoke on behalf of Higher Secondary Education Institutions, Principal of Dhukuria A-Z Technical and BM College’s Principal Rezaul Alam spoke on behalf of technical educational institutions, Omar Farooq Headmaster of Nakla Pilot Government High School spoke on behalf of secondary education institutions, Maulana Azizul Islam of Nakla Shahria Fazil Madrasa and President of Upazila Madrasa Teachers Association spoke on behalf of Madrasa education institutions, Md Aktaruzzaman head master of Nakla Model Government Primary School spoke on behalf of Primary education institutions and many others were spoke on the discussion meeting.
Speakers expressed their gratitude to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina of People’s Republic of Bangladesh Government for announcing the official program to celebrate Teacher’s Day-2022 in honor of teachers. Besides, they demanded that all education systems should be government including removing all discrimination in the education sector.
Among others GS of Upazila Madrasa Teachers Association and Upazila AL Religious Affairs Secretary Maulana Md Shahidul Islam, Vice President of Bangabandhu Education and Research Council and Headmaster of Muktijoddha Smriti Vidyaniketan FM Rezaul Karim, Headmaster of Biharipar SESDP Model High School Md Faridul Islam, Super of Kaida Balika Dakhil Madrasa Maulana Md Oli Ullah, the principal, head masters and assistant teachers of different schools, colleges and madrasas in the upazila, the organizing secretary of Bangabandhu Education-Research Council and the president of Nakla Press Club Md Musharaf Hossain, press club vice-president Khandaker Jasim Uddin Minto, organizational secretary Nur Hossain, finance secretary Abdullah Al-Amin, teacher-journalist Shahzad Swapan and Abdul Mottaleb Salim, journalists of different media were present.
